Alexander Daniloff is pleased to present us with a new series of Tarots of only Major Arcana which is part of my exhibition project "Fatigue of war". It is their reflection on the "side effects" of war: corruption of the soul, perfidy and despair, fear and looting.
Symbolism of the Tarot gave the author the possibility to include in his works allegories and mystifications, and talking of the important concepts that undergo mutations and perversions of war. This language allows the author to tackle the subject with a hint of salvific irony, relieving them from actuality, to avoid the risk of pathetic moralism. It's 'a look a bit' Brechtian.
