The quotes in this journal are taken from The Madman (1918) and The Forerunner (1920). Both are collections of parables and poems that prompt and goad and welcome the reader to a fresh perspective. These excerpts are presented alongside 43 full-colour artwork reproductions with thanks to the Gibran National Committee (Lebanon) and Telfair Museums (USA).
